Famous litterateur Vinod Kumar Shukla is identified with Jnanpith Award, Unique Writing Style

Famous litterateur Vinod Kumar Shukla has been announced to award the 59th Jnanpith Award for the year 2024. Indian Jnanpith gave this information in a statement.

He is the 12th Hindi litterateur, who is being awarded this award. Shukla is the first writer of Chhattisgarh state to be awarded this honor.

According to the statement, this decision was taken in the meeting of the Pravar Parishad chaired by the famous storyteller and Jnanpith Award -awarded Pratibha Rai.

Madhav Kaushik, Damodar Mavjo, Prabha Verma and Dr. Anamika, Dr. A. Krishna Rao, Prafulla Shildar, Janaki Prasad Sharma and Jnanpith director Madhusudan Anand were included.

The first poem of writer, poet and novelist Shukla (88 years) was published in 1971 under the title ‘Almost Jaihind’. His main novels include ‘servant’s shirt’, ‘a window in the wall’ and ‘Khilga to dekhga’.

His writing is known for simple, deep sensitivity and unique style. He is mainly famous for his experimental writing in Hindi literature.
