New Delhi. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), an organization keeping an eye on terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has condemned and expressed deep concern about this. The FATF has clearly stated that this attack or other such incidents are not possible without the means of transaction of money among terrorist supporters, meaning such incidents cannot be carried out without funding. The FATF said that there is a deep and organized financial network behind such attacks, which spreads terrorism around the world on the basis of money.

Describing the Pahalgam terror attacks as a very cruel act, the FATF said that terrorist attacks kill people around the world, cripple them and create fear among the people. In order to curb these attacks and take steps against terrorism, the FATF insisted on focusing on adopting measures preventing terror funding. The institution said that as long as this money flows on terrorism, terror will continue. The FATF president said that the terrorists need to be successful only once while we have to succeed every time. He called upon the global community to come together to combat terrorism funding.

Let us tell you that FATF is an international body that works closely with the United Nations. Its main objective is to make policies to deal with money laundering, financing terrorism, its spread and set standards. Remind that in Pahalgam, the terrorists killed innocent tourists by asking their religion. 26 people were killed in this attack, out of which 25 were tourists and 1 local Pitu. Pituwale tried to save the tourists, so the terrorists killed him too.
