Youth did suicide
Khordha: A shocking incident has come to light from Khordha district of Odisha. A young man committed suicide by being fed up with his wife’s harassment. Before dying, he recorded a video in which he clearly says, ‘I am in Ramchandra Barjeena, my house in Kumbarbast. I am suicide today because of my wife. This video has also gone viral on social media. After recording the video, Ramchandra jumped in front of the train and died on the spot.
What is the matter?
According to the information of the incident, Ramchandra Barjeena was married in Jankia police station area. He also has a daughter. For the past few years, he was constantly falling prey to the wife with quarrels and torture. Finally, when he broke down from all this, he took this big step. The body of the deceased youth was found on the Narangar railway track, which comes in the Jankia police station area. Police and railway department reached the spot and started an investigation by taking the body in possession. Later, the family identified the body as Ramchandra.
Ramchandra’s death is shocked by his parents and family. He went to Shilpanchal police station in Khordha and lodged a complaint of harassment of his wife behind the son’s suicide. The police registered a case and took a statement from the mother of the deceased and started action under Case No. 85/25.
What did the father of the deceased tell?
The deceased Ramchandra’s father said, ‘Ever since my son got married, my daughter -in -law left my son and went to her house for months. If my son did not take my daughter -in -law once a week, my daughter -in -law would misbehave with her. We were tolerating all this for a long time. We spent all the wedding expenses and the people of my daughter -in -law spent the wedding by borrowing 20 lakh rupees from us.
He told that the wedding pavilion was also booked in the name of my son because it was a love marriage. Ramchandra went to Khordha with his wife Rupali and daughter. There he left his wife and girl near Khordha Court. When Rupali felt that Ramchandra did not return for a long time, he called him several times, but his phone was coming off. After some time, in the evening we came to know that Ramchandra committed suicide on the Nigigarh-Tapang railway track. It was 2 years for marriage. My son’s suicide is my daughter -in -law, her mother, her father, brother and both sisters. We want the incident to be thoroughly investigated and the culprits are punished severely.
At present, the police have arrested Ramchandra’s wife and further investigation is on. Sections 108, 351 (2) and 3 (5) of BNS have been imposed on the accused.
