Siddaramaiah targeted BJP
Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday claimed that he is being targeted in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment case because the opposition is afraid of him. Along with this, Siddaramaiah said that this is the first political case against him. The Chief Minister reiterated that he would not resign even after the court ordered an inquiry against him in the case as he had done nothing wrong. He insisted that he would fight the battle legally.
Accusing the central government of misusing central agencies like CBI, ED and the office of the Governor in opposition-ruled states across the country, he said there was a need for a national level debate on the issue of Governor’s ‘interference’ in administration.
