New Delhi. An FIR has been lodged against Karni Sena leader Thakur Yogendra Rana, who made indecent remarks on Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan from Kairana Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. The police has registered a case on the complaint of Sunita Singh, the metropolitan president of SP Advocate Sabha in Moradabad. An FIR has been lodged against Yogendra Rana under the IT Act, defamation and disrespect of the woman. Along with this, there has been a demand to block Yogendra Rana’s social media account.
Karni Sena National Vice President Thakur Yogendra Rana posted a video of himself on social media in which he offered Nikah to SP MP Ikra Hasan. Rana had said that I have confessed to Ikra Hasan, she should stay in Muslim religion and stay in my house and can also offer Namaz. My only condition is AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi and his younger brother Akbaruddin Owaisi call me brother -in -law. Rana had said that I will also be a Hindu, I will put tilak, and he also said that brotherhood between Hindu and Mulmanman is necessary.
This video of Yogendra Rana became increasingly viral on social media, after which it was condemned by the people of Muslim society as well as SP leaders and many social media users. Former SP MP of Moradabad, ST Hasan, while targeting Yogendra Rana, said that it belongs to the insult of a woman as well as the entire Muslim society and democracy. He raised the demand from the Supreme Court and Parliament to take self -cognizance in this matter. Many SP leaders led by SP District President Jayveer Singh Yadav of Moradabad met SP City and demanded action.
