New Delhi. In a very sensational incident in Amroha, UP, unknown assailants riding a bike opened fire on a school van carrying children. Not only this, bricks and stones were also thrown at the van. The fortunate thing is that no untoward incident happened to any child. As soon as the firing started on the school van, the driver immediately drove away the van and went straight to the police station. The incident happened this morning, about 30 children were traveling in this van. The driver along with all the children is completely safe. At present the children are very scared.
As soon as the news of firing on the school van was received, senior police and administration officials reached the spot and took complete information regarding the incident from the driver. Police is busy searching for the attackers. The help of CCTV cameras is also being taken to catch the shooters. This school van belongs to SRS International School. The driver told the police during interrogation that like every day, he was taking the children from their home to school this morning too. Then three bike riders stopped the van on the way on Nagla Thakurdwara Road. As soon as the van stopped, the miscreants with their faces covered with masks started firing.
The driver told that he immediately started driving the van by pressing the accelerator. The attackers kept chasing the bus. The driver told that first he was going towards the school and then he turned the van towards the police station. It is being said that the attackers had a grudge against the driver and were trying to target him. A few days ago, the driver had a dispute with someone and perhaps they were the ones who attacked him.
