It has been informed by the Indian Embassy in Doha that at least five Indian citizens living in Qatar died in a bus accident in Kenya. It is being told that these people went to Kenya for holidays. The embassy said in a post on X, a group of 28 Indians from Qatar were on a visit to Kenya, where the bus accident on Tuesday died in which 5 people died.
In Nairobi, the Indian High Commission posted on X, we are deeply saddened by the tragic road accident on Ol Jororok-Nakuru Road in Nyandarua County, in which 5 Indian citizens have lost their lives. Condolences are our senses towards bereaved families. We pray for the injured to recover early. The Indian mission at Qatar said that it is in touch with the Indian Cultural Center (ICC), the Indian Community Welfare Forum (ICBF) and other community groups of Doha. However, the dead have not been identified yet. Others injured in this accident have been admitted to various hospitals in Kenya.
