Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia told reporters that three suspects of the Raja Raghuvanshi murder have been detained in a joint operation conducted on Sunday and Monday of the Indore Police and Meghalaya Police on Sunday and Monday. He said that these suspects from Indore have been identified as Raj Kushwaha, Vishal Chauhan and Akash Rajput.
Dandotia said that two of these people were caught from Indore, while another person was detained near the city.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police said, “The Meghalaya Police is interrogating the three suspects. On the basis of the facts found in the interrogation, the Meghalaya Police will take the next step. ”He said that the fourth suspect of the King Raghuvanshi murder is absconding, who is being searched.
Dandotia said that Sonam (25), wife of King Raghuvanshi, has been found in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. He told that Sonam, who went to Meghalaya to celebrate a honeymoon with her husband, had a last talk with her mother -in -law on the phone on 23 May, after which her contact with the family was cut off.
Officials said that Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam went missing on May 23, who went to Meghalaya to celebrate honeymoon. He said that the body of King Raghuvanshi was found on June 2 in a deep ditch near a waterfall in Sohra area of East Khasi Hills district (also known as Cherrapunji).
King Raghuvanshi’s family is associated with transport business. Raja was married to Sonam on May 11 in Indore and he left for Meghalaya for a honeymoon on 20 May.
Officials said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police is investigating the case of murder of Raja Raghuvanshi in detail.
