Five people trapped on religious visit from Ballia to Iran, SP MP wrote a letter to the Center for help

The local MP of Samajwadi Party (SP) has written a letter to the Central Government, requesting necessary action in the matter after five people who were trapped there in Iran from Rasra town in Ballia district. The family has requested the Narendra Modi -led government to intervene on safe return.

Syed Asad Ali Bakr of Rasra town in Ballia district, Syed Mohammad Mujtaba Hussain, Syed Mohammad An, Shama Jahan and Syed Najmuskib have gone to Iran on a religious visit and are trapped in Iran’s capital Tehran due to war.

Atif of Rasra town told ‘PTI-language’ on Sunday that all these members of his family had reached Iran after Iraq on 25 May. He said that all the people are currently safe in a hotel in Tehran and their family is praying for everyone’s return to the country.

Atik told that Mashiurrahman of Rasra town also went with him, but he returned to India from Iraq on June 7.

Meanwhile, SP MP from Ballia Sanatan Pandey on Saturday wrote a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs requesting necessary initiatives to return to India safely in Tehran.

Pandey said that all people are trapped in Tehran and the airline is closed due to war, due to which they are not visible to come to India. He has appealed to the government for help.
