Talks between India and Pakistan
There is a protocol between the army of India and Pakistan, according to which every Tuesday there is talk between DGMO office officials on the hotline. In this dialogue between the two countries, the current situation is discussed regarding the Line of Control and Intelligence Bureau. In such a situation, if a party has violated a fixed rule, a complaint is lodged between the two countries through the hotline. Since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, there has been an increase between the two countries and the matter overtook mutual conflict, both countries have again announced a ceasefire.
Important talks will be held on Monday
Now amid tension with both India and Pakistan, there will be an important talks between the DGMO office of the two countries on Monday, in which both will speak. Earlier, the ceasefire has been talked about twice and in this India raised the issue of small arms firing from Pakistan. India had also asked Pakistan to stop firing across the border. Pakistan’s DGMO Major General Kasif Abdullah had called India’s DGMO at 3.35 pm on Saturday, then the ceasefire was announced by the two countries from 5 pm.
India had given information about the attack earlier
According to sources, India informed Pakistan’s DGMO in the morning only after the attack on terrorist bases in Pakistan on May 7. But Pakistan did not follow it even for two hours and started firing from heavy caliber guns along the border with drone attack in India’s border region. After this, India also responded to Pakistan. Now on Monday, the world will be eyeing the talks between the Director General Military Operation of both countries i.e. DGMO. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had said that there will be talks between the DGMO of the two countries on May 12, Monday at 12 noon.
India has made it clear
India had already clearly stated that both terrorism and dialogue cannot run together. Let us know that diplomatic relations between the two countries were limited but after the Pahalgam terror attack, they have now been further limited. According to sources, India has also said that only DGMO level talks will be held with Pakistan. No political talks can happen at the moment. Regarding the talks, it has been said that terror, Indus Water Agreement will be important.
