The UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC) and IIT Delhi’s FITT institution organized a special program, which was aimed at to give Indian startups an opportunity globally. The event took place in IIT Delhi, which is a major center of innovation and startups in India. Many special people in this, Dr. Nikhil Aggarwal, Managing Director of FITT, Director of IIT Delhi Prof. Rangan Banerjee, and UICC director Ahmed Alajnebi attended.

There was open discussion with students and startup founders.
There were questions and answers on important subjects like investment, sector priorities, program deadline etc.
What happened special?
At the end of the program, a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between the UICC and the FITT. Under this agreement
Indian startups will help in connecting UAE to innovation ecosystem.
Startups will get an opportunity for funding, mentorship, and international expansion.
Ahmed Alajnebi said that this partnership will strengthen the entrepreneurial relations of India and UAE. Dr. Nikhil Aggarwal described it as an opportunity taken at a right time, which will give IIT Delhi’s startups recognized on the international stage. Finally, there was a networking session at IIT Delhi’s Innovation Park, where startups shared their ideas. The last date for application in CEPA Start-up Series has been extended to 15 August 2025.
