New Delhi. After the acquittal of all the seven accused, including Sadhvi Pragya by a special NIA special court in the Malegaon blast case, a former officer of the Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) has made several major revelations. Retired Inspector Mehboob Muzawar has claimed that the case had orders to arrest Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sir Sanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat. The then investigating officer of the case, Paramveer Singh and an officer older than him, pressured Bhagwat to arrest. He said that through Bhagwat’s arrest, the theory of saffron terrorism was to be provided.

Mehboob Muzawar said, investigating officer Paramveer Singh had given me clear instructions to implicate Mohan Bhagwat in this case. I was asked to conduct a wrong investigation into the case, when I opposed it, I was implicated in false cases. However, the court later acquitted me of all the allegations. Muzawar also said that two suspects Sandeep Dange and Ramji Kalsangra were killed, they were deliberately shown alive in the charge sheet, I was ordered to trace their location. Expressing happiness over the decision of the NIA court in the Malegaon blast case, he said that it was good that all the innocent people were acquitted by the court.
Mujawar also targeted the then Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. He said that Shinde should now clarify everything. Mujawar said, there was no such thing as saffron terrorism, everything was fake. Let us tell you that in this 2008 bomb blast, 6 people were killed and 101 were injured. After about 17 years, the NIA Special Court has ruled in this case a day earlier. Muzawar said that my career was also ruined due to not following the wrong orders.
