Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi said, ‘Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani died on June 12 during an Air India accident in Ahmedabad. His DNA matches at around 11:10 am today. He worked for the people of the state for many years.

32 victims identified so far through DNA
Three days after the Air India aircraft, going to London in Ahmedabad, officials have so far identified 32 victims through DNA test and the bodies of 14 have been handed over to their families. Additional Civil Superintendent Dr. Rajneesh Patel told reporters that the DNA matching process of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is going on.
