Now Sunil Kumar Gupta, former PRO of Delhi’s Tihar Jail, has alleged that Subrata Roy, who was the owner of Sahara India, was given special facilities in Tihar Jail. According to the former PRO of Tihar Jail, Subrata Roy had the air hostess of Sahara Airlines and lived with him for many hours.

According to Sunil Kumar Gupta, Subrata Roy was also seen in the cell where he was kept in Tihar Jail. He also alleged that even Arvind Kejriwal, who was the CM of Delhi, told everything about this, but either he must have thought that an IPS officer would not be able to take action or Arvind Kejriwal had reached the agreement. Actually, Subrata Roy was very dues. First Subrata Roy was kept in the general jail. Then after getting approval from the court, the place was placed where there was video conferencing facility. According to the former PRO of Tihar Jail, he saw many illegal things there. The Delhi High Court also summoned him and said that there are complaints of bribery and forced recovery in Tihar Jail. According to Sunil, he said about this in a meeting with DG Jail in Delhi.

According to the former PRO of Tihar Jail, when nothing happened, he then approached CM Arvind Kejriwal. In front of the jail minister, he told Kejriwal that what unethical facilities are being provided to Subrata Roy in Tihar. Sunil Kumar Gupta claims that on this Arvind Kejriwal said that he can make a video of all this. On this, he said that this will not be right and he should reach the jail and investigate himself. He said that if everything is found in the raid, there is no problem in action against the superintendent. Then two days later, Delhi’s DG Jail called and said that it is not right to contact Arvind Kejriwal directly and I implicated a poor man. Then the jail minister visited and told the jail officials that nothing should be wrong now, but Subrata Roy continued to get facilities. According to Sunil Kumar Gupta, the jail administration started harassing him. Then he also met the then LG. He also met his secretary, but nothing happened. Then while retiring, a 15 -page charge sheet was also given in the 10 -year -old case. After 4-5 years, he was acquitted of the allegations.
