Four people of the same family died due to lightning on a raw man in Yamuna Nagar area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. There was chaos in the area after the accident. An official gave this information on Sunday.
The officer said that the incident was in Sonavarsha Hallabor village of Bara tehsil late on Saturday night when Virendra Vanvasi was sleeping under the thatch with his family when lightning fell. Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Vinita Singh said that Virendra, wife Parvati, daughter Radha and Karishma died due to scorch. He said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
