France reiterated solidarity with India in the fight against terrorism arising from Pakistan and agreed that the democratic world needed to speak in a voice on the issue.
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said this at the conclusion of the all -party delegation’s visit to Paris.
Representatives of the India-France Friendship Group also joined the French Senate along with a nine-member delegation. Also, members of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee also attended the grand Luxembourg Palace.
Prasad told reporters, “In this grand building, all the colleagues of the Senate have only one word to say that we are with India in the fight against terrorism.”
He said, “He fully agreed that France and India, but the entire democratic world needed to speak in a voice in the fight against Pakistan -backed terrorism.” He said that the delegation was ‘really overwhelmed’ with this support and thanked the French MPs.
