Noted storyteller Devkinandan Thakur said on Thursday that January 27 will be celebrated as the Day of Freedom of Religion and on this day the draft of the constitution of Sanatan Board will be presented in the Parliament of Religions.
In a press conference held at Niranjani Akhara, Devkinandan Thakur said, “We need Sanatan Board to take our cause forward. We will not leave the Kumbh without taking the Sanatan board.” He told that representatives of all the Akharas, representatives of the four Shankaracharyas and all the people associated with Sanatan will be represented in the Dharma Sansad.
Religion Parliament is being organized in Sector 17 here on 27th January. Akhara Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri, who was present at the press conference, said, “The draft of the Sanatan Board will be finalized and announced in the presence of all the religious leaders in the upcoming Parliament of Religions to be held on January 27.”
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yatindranand Giri of Juna Akhara said, “Sanatan Board is the need of entire humanity because terror, hatred and anarchy can be ended only through Sanatan Board.”
Swami Premanand Puri, senior Mahamandaleshwar of Niranjani Akhara and Mahant of Arjiwale Hanuman Ji of Ujjain, said, “Some people say that the land of Ganga belongs to the Waqf Board. When someone claims our traditions as their own, let us tell them that they have been eternal ever since the sun appeared. Sanatan Board is extremely important to preserve the integrity of our country.”
Peethadhishwar Swami Balankanand Giri Maharaj of Anand Akhara said that Sanatan is everywhere and Sanatan Board is very necessary to preserve it.
