“A part of Pote’s middle finger was cut off during the filling process of ice cream at the Indapur factory. It was later found in an ice cream cone ordered by a doctor from Malad, who informed the authorities,” the official said.
What was the whole matter?
Actually, a doctor from Mumbai found a human finger in an ice cream cone. The doctor made a video of it and expressed his displeasure. After this, the investigation revealed that on the day the ice cream was packed, an employee in the factory was injured. After this, the DNA of the finger found in the ice cream and that of the employee was matched. The DNA test revealed that the part of the finger found in the ice cream belonged to the employee.
Mumbai doctor Orlem Brandon Serrao, 26, found a finger in an ice-cream his sister had ordered online. “After eating half of it, I felt a solid piece in my mouth. I thought it could be a nut or a piece of chocolate and spat it out to check what it was,” Dr Serrao said. “I am a doctor, so I know what body parts look like. When I examined it carefully, I saw nails and fingerprints underneath it. It looked like a thumb. I am in shock,” he said. (Input: Bhasha)
