New Delhi. In the MCOCA case, gangster Salman Tyagi, who was lodged in Mandoli jail in Delhi, has committed suicide. His body was found hanging from the sheet in the jail number 15 of the jail. Salman Tyagi had several cases of murder, forced recovery and violation of Arms Act. Salman’s name was among the big gangsters in Delhi. At first he was associated with Neeraj Bawana gang, later Lawrence started working for the Bishnoi gang. Salman Tyagi’s body has been sent for post mortem, police is investigating the case.

According to the jail administration, when the prisoners were being counted during the morning patrol, Salman was found hanging from the sheet in his barrack. Police is trying to find out whether Salman has committed suicide or is the cause of his death. Also, information is being collected as to why he took a step like suicide while in jail. While in jail, Salman fired from two Delhi businessmen for a ransom of 50 lakhs last year. According to media reports, he had carried out the incident to take an entry in the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Salman Tyagi’s family has been informed of his death. There are strong security arrangements in Mandoli jail, CCTV cameras are installed in the jail, in such a situation, questions are also arising about the incident that despite the surveillance, how did Salman Tyagi commit suicide in jail. According to the police, no suicide note has been found from the scene in the investigation so far. Till the time the news is written, no response has been given by Salman’s family members.
