Garba video of Indian tourists went viral on Burj Khalifa

A group of Indian tourists made a video that has now gone viral while garbage on the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa in Dubai. After the video surfaced on social media, an issue of debate has also become. All tourists appeared in the same dress of yellow colored and presented the traditional Gujarati folk dance ‘Garba’ to the tune of the famous song ‘Chogada’ of the Bollywood film Lavayatri (2018).

The dance video was posted on Instagram on 15 June by Dubai -based content creator @the_walking_lens_. Since then, this video has been viewed thousands of times and mixed reactions of people are coming out on it.

Chhaya Garba Video on social media

While some users appreciated the group, saying that they presented Indian culture proudly on the global platform, some others consider it an inappropriate and insensitive behavior. One user wrote “It feels good when our culture shines like this.”

But some people also objected to the video. One wrote, “Is it right to dance to such crowded tourist spots?” “Why is it being praised? We should understand the dignity of public places.”

Indian tourists dancing in public places abroad

This is not the first time Indian tourists have gone viral dancing in public places abroad. At the beginning of this month, in the city of Vienna, Austria, some Indian tourists garlanded the street to the tune of local musicians, which led to the crowd gathered there.
