New Delhi. The body of a girl named Komal in the country’s capital was recovered from a canal in Chawla area on Thursday. Delhi Police has arrested Asif accused in the case of Komal’s murder. The woman whose body was found from the canal lived in the beautiful city of Seemapuri police station area. According to Delhi Police, Komal was strangled to death. Then a stone was tied with his body and thrown into the canal.
Asif, accused of killing Komal, has been arrested by the Delhi Police.
According to Delhi Police, it was found in the investigation that the taxi driver Asif had a long-known identity. On March 12, Komal was taken from Seemapuri on his taxi. The police came to know in the investigation that Komal and Asif had a quarrel and Asif killed Komal in a taxi itself and then threw the body into the dahla canal. According to the police, stones were tied to it so that Komal’s body could not be recovered, but the body swelled and then started landing in the canal on 17 March. After this, the police got information and recovered the body.
In connection with Komal’s murder, Delhi Police has registered a case at Dwarka police station. After Komal’s disappearance, his family had already filed a case of abduction at Seemapuri police station. Asif came under the circle during the investigation of this kidnapping case. According to Delhi Police, Asif’s taxi has been seized. Also, by inquiring, it is being ascertained that no one else had helped Asif in killing Komal.
