Diwali is always celebrated on Amavasya day. According to astrologer Chirag Daruwala, Amavasya Tithi is starting from 2:40 pm on Thursday, October 31. For this reason Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October. Amavasya Tithi on Diwali festival should be at night, which is not in the evening on November 1, 2024. In such a situation, the festival of Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October.
