New Delhi. The death toll in the Gambhira bridge accident in Gujarat has increased to 15. Relief and rescue operations are still going on. It is being told that three people are still missing, who are being searched in the river. The help of divers is being taken in this work. NDRF and STRF teams, fire brigade employees are present at the scene and are engaged in the rescue. Missing people are being searched from the scene to four kilometers from the spot. On the other hand, the tanker is still hanging on the broken bridge.

Vadodara collector Anil Dhelia said that if an attempt is made to remove the tanker from there, then the bridge is likely to collapse further, so after the completion of the rescue work in the river, the tanker will be removed from the bridge with full caution. Let us tell you that the Gambhra bridge connecting Vadodara and Anand on the Mahisagar river in Vadodara district suddenly broke into two parts on Wednesday morning. At the time when this accident happened, many vehicles were passing through the bridge. Due to which some vehicles fell directly into the river.

Soon after the incident, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel ordered an inquiry into the incident by technical experts. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called Gujarat CM while on a foreign tour and took complete information about this incident from him. The PM also directed to make proper arrangements for the treatment of those injured in this accident so that no one could face any problem. On behalf of the Prime Minister’s Office, financial assistance of Rs 2-2 lakh was given to the families of all the deceased and Rs 50,000 thousand to the injured.
