This remark of the Congress leader has come after the information given by Union Minister of State Pankaj Chaudhary to Parliament on March 18, in which he said that the ED has registered a total of 193 cases against former politicians in the last 10 years and only two of them have been convicted against two.
Rawat told ANI, “Regarding the reply given in Parliament, it says that out of all the cases he has filed against MPs and CMs like CM, he has only found enough evidence against 2, but our question (ED) is about misuse. The organization should not be used for political purposes, their integrity should be retained.”
He further said that the investigating agencies and the rights of investigation were given by the Congress -led government, but today these agencies are working to strengthen the investigation.
He said, “The rights they (Central Government) are using them were given to them by the Congress government. All these institutions were established by the Congress government. But today these organizations are working to strengthen the BJP instead of the country. We are worried about the integrity of these institutions.” Rawawat said that Rawat has established all the organizations, when asked about the establishment of the Central Agency established in 1956 by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, “Nehru said,” Nehru said, “Nehru said,” Those are being misused.
