Harivansh Narayan has taken over the responsibility as the Acting Chairman of the Rajya Sabha as per rules. This morning, the President has accepted the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar. After this, the process of election of new Vice President is now being expected to start soon. Dhankhar is the first Vice President to resign from his post during the Parliament session. Congress leader KC Venugopal says that why the Vice President suddenly resigned, the government should clarify this.
