New Delhi. In the municipal elections of Haryana, BJP has won 9 out of 10 municipal corporations, waving the glory. The Manesar Municipal Corporation has been captured by an independent candidate. BJP has won the seats in Gurugram, Faridabad, Panipat, Sonipat, Hisar, Karnal, Rohtak, Yamunanagar and Ambala Municipal Corporation seats. The Congress has become concerned about all four. Apart from the Municipal Corporation, votes are also counted among five city councils and 23 municipalities. BJP is leading in most seats. At the same time, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda has given a very strange response to the defeat of Congress.

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini expressed happiness over the BJP’s victory in the Haryana Municipal Corporation elections, saying, in the results of the local body elections today, the people of Haryana have approved the triple engine government. I thank the people of Haryana wholeheartedly. I thank the Election Commission and all the officials for conducting the election peacefully. In the dream of a developed nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will definitely play a strong role in our local body government, this triple engine government.

On the declared results of the municipal elections, senior Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that the seats on which the Congress has already been with the BJP, this defeat does not make any difference to the Congress. He said that BJP dominated the municipal corporation. Hooda said, Congress councilors must have increased in this election. The former CM said that there was no emphasis in our election. I myself did not go to campaign anywhere because I do not campaign in the Municipal Corporation or Panchayat elections.
