According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the people of Delhi will have to face heat on Sunday. At the same time, heavy rainfall is likely to continue in Northeast India by 27 April, 2025. Between 26 and 29 April, there will be a new phase of thunderstorms, electricity, hailstorms, strong/strong winds in India between April and 29. At the same time, heatstroke is likely to run in the plains of India between northwest and surrounding India by 30 April 2025.

Delhi recorded the highest temperature of 42.1 degrees Celsius in the last three years on Saturday. The IMD reported that the last time in the national capital, the higher temperature was recorded in 2022, when the maximum temperature reached 43.5 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 20.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is 3.1 degrees below the average temperature of this season. He said that the humidity level in the capital was between 35 percent to 15 percent. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy in Delhi on Sunday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are around 41 ° C and around 24 ° C respectively. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s air quality remained in the “poor” category, where the Air Quality Index was recorded at 247 at four in the evening.

The condition of Haryana and Punjab

Punjab and Haryana had a scorching heat on Saturday, while Bathinda recorded the highest temperature of 43.9 degrees Celsius. According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Patiala, Punjab was recorded at 42.8 degrees Celsius, followed by 41.3 degrees in Ludhiana, 40.5 degrees in Pathankot, 40.2 degrees in Amritsar and 39.6 degrees Celsius in Mohali. Rohtak in Haryana was the hottest place where the maximum temperature was 43.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature in Hisar was 41.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Sirsa and Bhiwani was recorded at 42 degrees and 41.7 degrees respectively while Narnaul recorded 39.2 degrees, 40.3 degrees in Gurugram, 41.4 degrees in Ambala and maximum temperature in Karnal 41.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.1 degrees Celsius in the joint capital of Haryana and Punjab, Chandigarh.

Light rain and thunderstorm estimated in many areas of Rajasthan

Due to the effect of western disturbance, light rain and thunderstorms are expected to run in many areas of the state, which can provide some relief from the scorching heat. According to the IMD, due to the effect of a new western disturbance, light rain is likely in some parts of Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions on 26 April and strong winds at a speed of 40-50 kmph. It stated that in the first week of May, Eastern winds are effective and second Western disturbance will increase thunderstorm activities and due to decrease in temperature, people will get relief from the scorching heat.

Till Saturday morning, the weather in the state remained dry in the state during a period of twenty-four hours and there was a warm wave in Jaipur and Bikaner divisions. IMD said that during this period, the highest maximum temperature was recorded at 44.5 degrees Celsius in Pilani, which is 6.3 degrees above normal while the highest minimum temperature was 29.9 degrees Celsius in Nagaur.

‘Orange Alert’ for 13 districts of Jharkhand

In 13 districts of Jharkhand, a ‘Orange Alert’ of strong winds has been released for two days from Sunday for two days. A Meteorological Department official said on Saturday that the weather is expected to get relief from extreme heat and humidity as the possibility of light to moderate rain may fall to five degrees Celsius. Abhishek Anand, Deputy Director of Ranchi Center of India Meteorological Department, said, “The maximum temperature in the whole of Jharkhand is four degrees above normal. Light to moderate rain is expected due to moisture from the Bay of Bengal, due to which people can get relief from the scorching heat from Sunday.

The Meteorological Department said that clouds and hailstorms can be seen in the northeastern and central parts of Jharkhand on 26 and 27 April. He also said that there is also a possibility of strong winds in these areas at a speed of up to 50 km per hour. The Meteorological Center has issued a ‘Orange Alert’ on 26 and 27 April on 26 and 27 April-Ranchi, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Pakur, Sahibganj and Godda.
