New Delhi. The Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has received a big blow from the High Court. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had appointed 6 Congress MLAs as Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPS). This order of the government was challenged in the High Court through a writ. Giving order on this, the High Court has canceled the appointments of all CPS. The High Court has declared these appointments unconstitutional and has also repealed the CPS Act of 2006. The High Court has also ordered closure of government facilities available under CPS.
