Rohtak. The Haryana Police has arrested a person named Sachin from Delhi in the murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal. He is a resident of Bahadurgarh in Haryana. News channel Aaj Tak has quoted sources as saying that Himani Narwal was murdered in his house. Then the body was thrown in Himani’s suitcase near the bus station in Sampla town in Rohtak. The news channel quoted sources as saying that Sachin and Himani knew each other. Himani’s mobile has also been recovered from Sachin.
The news channel quoted police sources as saying that Sachin told during interrogation that he had a relationship with Himani Narwal. Sachin claims that Himani was blackmailing her and had also taken millions of rupees. According to the police, something can be said only after the confirmation of this claim of Sachin. Earlier, Himani’s mother, while talking to the media on Sunday, had expressed apprehension that someone in the Congress or his daughter’s knee murdered the suitcase and thrown the corpse in the suitcase. Himani Narwal’s mother and brother had said that until the killer is arrested, he would not cremate the dead body.
The body of Himani Narwal was found in the suitcase on 1 March. Her mother had gone to Delhi a day earlier. He said that Himani had told that he had to go to Deepender Hooda’s program on March 1. When called in the evening, Himani did not pick up the phone. After this, despite constant calling, when Himani Narwal could not be contacted, the mother and brother got nervous. After this, when he came to Rohtak, it was found that Himani Narwal had been killed. Himani Narwal was also the Rohtak District President of Youth Congress. Himani was also close to Narwal from Hooda family. She also went to Srinagar with Rahul Gandhi during the India Joda Yatra.
