Guwahati. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was on a tour of Assam on Wednesday. He held a meeting with Assam Congress officials in Guwahati. Assam CM Himant Biswa Sarma has claimed that Rahul Gandhi held a closed room with Assam Congress officials. Assam CM Himanta Bisw Sarma also posted on X and claimed that in a closed room meeting, Rahul Gandhi said that the current CM (Himant) would definitely be sent to jail if the government is formed in the state. Himant Bisw Sarma taunted Rahul Gandhi on this and said that he may forget that he himself was on bail in all matters.
