New Delhi. Political heat is increasing regarding Delhi Assembly elections 2025. The war of words between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress has now taken a sharp turn. On Monday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a public meeting in Seelampur, Delhi, made sharp attacks on the Delhi government and Arvind Kejriwal.
Rahul Gandhi said, “Do you remember that Delhi when Sheila Dikshit was the Chief Minister? Arvind Kejriwal had promised that he would free Delhi from corruption and make it like Paris. But today pollution and inflation are increasing in Delhi. Cancer and diseases have become common. Arvind Kejriwal has made false promises to the public. His campaign is like that of PM Modi.”

Kejriwal’s counterattack
After these allegations by Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal hit back on social media. He tweeted and wrote, “Today Rahul Gandhi ji came to Delhi. He abused me a lot. But I will not comment on his statements. Their fight is to save Congress, my fight is to save the country.”

Voting on 5 February, results on 8 February
Voting for all 70 seats of Delhi Assembly will be held on February 5 and the results will be announced on February 8. As the elections approach, the rhetoric between political parties has intensified.
While on one hand AAP is counting the achievements of its tenure to woo the public, on the other hand Congress and BJP are trying to corner AAP on issues like corruption, pollution and inflation.
