Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the ‘harmony with equality’ program. On this occasion, all the saints first greeted the Chief Minister on implementing the Uniform Civil Code in the state of Uttarakhand. On this occasion, the Chief Minister thanked all the saints and said that it is a good fortune to get the blessings of revered saints on the auspicious occasion of Triveni’s holy land and Mahakumbh. He said that the blessings of revered saints are most important in the imagination of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s developed India. He said that implementing the Uniform Civil Code is to move towards developed India. The honor of my saints has honored every citizen of Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister said that before the 2022 assembly elections, we had pledged to implement the Uniform Civil Code in front of the people of Uttarakhand. He said that the public gave us their blessings. After the formation of the government, a committee was formed for the Uniform Civil Code in the first cabinet meeting. After which the state government of Uttarakhand under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi first implemented the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand after the independence of the country.
The Chief Minister said that in Devbhoomi, there are now similar laws for any religion, caste people. Due to the blessings of the Prime Minister, we have been able to implement the UCC in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that the constitution makers had also provided equal laws. Uttarakhand is Devbhoomi, our state is the state of Ganga, Yamuna, Char Dham, etc. Kailash, the state of saints. The member of each house in the state of Uttarakhand is in the army. In every place of the country, the youth of Devbhoomi is serving Maa Bharati.
The Chief Minister said that Mahakumbh is a symbol of the vastness of our eternal culture. Getting blessings of all great saints on the occasion of Mahakumbh is the biggest achievement of their life. Our eternal culture has always been a possibility of harmony and equality. Sanatan culture teaches us to give us the right to equality. With the inspiration of Sanatan culture, the state government has taken a bold decision to implement the same Municipal Code.
The Chief Minister said that the Uniform Civil Code is a revolutionary step towards justice and equality. This Ganges of the Uniform Civil Code from Devbhoomi Uttarakhand will definitely go throughout the country. This equal law will work to show direction to the country. He said that the UCC also fulfills the resolution of the Prime Minister’s Bharat Shrestha Bharat. It is also important for our future generations.
Referring to the incident of Shraddha Walker’s murder in Delhi in 2022, the Chief Minister said that this type of incident would be completely closed after the Uniform Civil Code is implemented. He said that now no one will be able to commit such a crime with our daughters. The Chief Minister said that he is confident that UCC will be implemented in all states in the coming time.
Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj said that there is no divine place like Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand is very dear to all saints. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj said that all the saints of India are with Chief Minister Dhami ji. Even after being a small state, Uttarakhand has become the largest, in which the Uniform Civil Code has been first implemented. He said that Chief Minister Dhami has emphasized India by implementing UCC. Now other states along with Uttarakhand will also move towards implementing UCC.
Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj has abolished discrimination in society by implementing UCC. The Uttarakhand government has proved how sensitive it is to Indian traditions.
