New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has once again been cornered by BJP over his statements. Union Minister Hardeep Puri hit back at Rahul Gandhi and said that how can an Indian say that his fight is with India? Rahul Gandhi had given this statement while referring to transparency in the recent elections.

BJP-RSS have captured every institution: Rahul

After the inauguration of the party’s new headquarters ‘Indira Bhawan’, the former Congress President also claimed that there is a serious problem in India’s election system. He said, “Don’t think that we are fighting a fair fight. There is no fairness in this. If you believe that we are fighting a political organization called BJP or RSS, then you have not understood what is happening. BJP and RSS have captured every institution of our country. Now we are fighting against BJP, RSS and the Indian state itself.”

Serious problem in India’s election system: Rahul

Referring to the recent assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi raised questions about transparency in the electoral process and said that his fight is not only with the Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), but also with the ‘Indian State’. . The former Congress President also claimed after the inauguration of the party’s new headquarters that there is a serious problem in India’s election system.

“I have clearly said that something has gone wrong in the Maharashtra elections,” he claimed. We are uncomfortable with the way the Election Commission is working. The sudden emergence of about one crore new voters in Maharashtra between the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections is a matter of problem.

Questions raised on Haryana elections also

Rahul Gandhi said it is the duty of the Election Commission to provide the voter list with names and addresses of those who voted in the Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections, but it has refused to provide this information. He asked, “Why would the Election Commission refuse to make the voter list transparent?” What purpose is served by not giving us the list and why are they withholding it?

According to Rahul Gandhi, it is the duty of the Election Commission to ensure transparency and it is their sacred responsibility to explain why this has happened. The Congress leader said, “This is something that every Congressman and every opposition member should keep in mind. There is a serious problem with our election system. It is the duty of the Election Commission to be transparent.”(input-language)
