After this, he kept the pieces of the body in the fridge and absconded. After a few days, when a foul smell started coming from the house, the neighbors informed the police about it. When the police broke the door of the house, the body of the woman was found cut into many pieces inside the fridge.
The case is from Vayalikaval police station area of Bengaluru. Here a young woman named Mahalakshmi, who lived on the first floor of a three-storey building on Veeranna Road, was murdered and her body was cut into pieces and kept inside the fridge.
How was it revealed?
This shocking incident was revealed due to the smell. A strong smell was coming from the house on Veeranna Road. In such a situation, the people of the area informed the police. On this, the police reached there and broke the door of the house and when they went inside, a dead body was kept in a bad condition in the fridge. In the initial investigation, it is believed that he must have been murdered 4 or 5 days ago and it is possible that the murderer cut the body into pieces and kept it in the fridge, so that the murderer gets time to escape.
Police suspects close ones
Police investigation has revealed that 26-year-old Mahalakshmi was from another state, but was living in Bengaluru for a long time. Taking cognizance of this, the police is investigating all the CCTV cameras in the area. It is also being said that people close to the woman may be involved in the murder.
