Police has started searching for accused Rajendra Gupta. The accused was survived by his wife Neetu Gupta (45), son Navnendra Gupta (25), Subendra Gupta (15) and daughter Gaurangi Gupta (16). Rajendra’s elder son Navnendra is an engineer while his younger son and daughter study in DPS school. Rajendra Gupta’s mother was at the spot at the time of the incident. However, due to her old age, she is unable to walk. Maybe that’s why the accused left him alive. It is also being told that Rajendra often quarreled with his wife and talked about marrying again.
Many tenants also live in Rajendra Gupta’s house. None of the tenants had any inkling of the gunshot, it is possible that people might have mistaken the sound of the gunshot for the sound of a firecracker. When the lady working in the house arrived in the morning, she informed the people nearby. As soon as information about the incident was received, Inspector Bhelupur and others reached the spot. The forensic team has also been informed. The mobile phone of the accused is being traced.
