New Delhi. In Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites carried out the IED blast in which ASP Akash Giripunje was martyred. Some other policemen have been injured. The injured policemen are undergoing treatment at Astpal. ASP Akash Giripunje was on foot patrol with his team when he was hit by IED near Dondra village. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while bowing to the martyrdom of ASP, has said that the Naxalites will have to bear the consequences.

At the same time, SSP Lal Umaid Singh of Raipur said that according to preliminary information, Naxalites caught fire in the machine Pokeland in Konta, after which the police team set out on the mission.
