Conspiracy to spread terror?
Chandigarh Police sources say that a country-made bomb was used in the blasts, which was made from the potash used in firecrackers. Jute ropes were also recovered from the spot. The night clubs were closed when the blast occurred. Based on preliminary investigation, the police believe that these blasts could be an attempt to spread terror among the nightclub owners and extort money.
