Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), along with Jalandhar Skill Development Corporation of Punjab, has started a plan to give jobs to drivers returning from UAE in Dubai. The scheme is especially for experienced trailers and truck drivers who have worked in UAE and now live in Kadappa, East Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts.
Major things of the plan
This initiative has been initiated under APSSDC’s Skill International Program. It will have recruitment of trailer driver, truck driver, and ITV driver (who has an Indian or GCC license). The scheme is Tristar Group (Adnoc Project), Veolia, Allied Transport, Dubai Port major employer companies.
Salary and Facilities:
Salary: AED 1,500 to AED 4,000 (ie ₹ 35,000 to ₹ 94,000 per month)
Facilities: Living space, travel facility, medical insurance, and annual air tickets
Eligibility:
Male candidate
Age: 24 to 48 years
UAE’s heavy vehicle license (valid or expired)
At least 10th pass (SSC)
General knowledge of English
Need to be physically fit
Selection process and dates
Driving test or telephone interview will be taken
