New Delhi. An IFS officer has committed suicide by jumping from the building of his house in Delhi’s VIP area Chanakyapuri. The name of the IFS officer is Jitendra Rawat and he lived on the first floor in the Residential Society of MEA in Chanakyapuri. Jitendra Rawat, originally from Uttarakhand, will be around 35 to 40 years old. He went to the fourth floor of the building and jumped down from there. At the time the incident took place, only his mother was at his house. The officer’s wife and two children live in Dehradun. Now the question is that under what circumstances did the IFS officer take such a big step, what happened that he had to give his life?

Delhi Police is investigating the case from every angle. Initial investigation has revealed that IFS officer Jitendra Rawat had been struggling with depression for a long time and probably he gave his life. According to the police, Jitendra Rawat was undergoing treatment for depression for a long time, although the information about what he was in depression has not been revealed yet. Some people are showing family feud due to depression and some say that they have taken such a step due to some tension in the office. At present, the situation will be clear only after the investigation is completed.
Police say that prima facie it is a case of suicide. There is no possibility of any conspiracy or disturbance from anywhere. The body of Jitendra Rawat has been sent for postmortem. On the other hand, his wife has also been informed in Dehradun. After the post -mortem, his body will be handed over to the family after which he will be cremated.
