New Delhi. How much illegal infiltration is happening from Bangladesh, it shows that a large number of illegal Bangladeshi intruders are being caught in the country’s capital Delhi too. Delhi Police has said that after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the campaign of illegal migrants in Delhi has been intensified. As a result, 470 Bangladeshi intruders have been arrested since 22 April 2025. Apart from these, 50 such foreigners have also been arrested by Delhi Police, who were standing in the capital despite the end of the visa period. All the arrested Bangladeshi citizens were sent by plane to Agartala, the capital of Tripura and from there to Bangladesh.
According to Delhi Police, the Ministry of Home Affairs ordered in 2024 that illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingya should be identified in the country’s capital. After this, the police conducted the operation in all the slums of Delhi. As a result, 220 illegal Bangladeshi intruders were caught in Delhi from 15 November 2024 to 20 April 2025. Apart from this, 30 foreigners living even after the end of the visa period were arrested. All of them have also been sent back to Bangladesh and their country. It is believed that apart from Bangladeshis, other citizens are Rohingya of Myanmar. According to Delhi Police, his action against illegal intruders is going on fast.
Apart from Delhi, the work of catching Bangladeshi intruders and Rohingya continues in other states. Bangladeshi infiltrators have also been caught in large numbers in Maharashtra. In Jammu and Kashmir too, Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingya have been caught first and kept in the Detention Center. Meanwhile, the news is that the interim government of Bangladesh is hesitating to withdraw its citizens infiltrating in India. Despite this, the Central Government has continued the work of seating them by taking a tough stand. It is being told that soon the work of catching Bangladeshi intruders and Rohingya coming from Myanmar can be started by launching a big campaign across the country.
