According to the Meteorological Department, there is a cyclonic circulation over Assam, under which light to moderate rains and snowfall are expected in Arunachal Pradesh with thunderstorms. This western disturbance may also cause rain in Assam and Meghail.

According to the department, the weather will deteriorate in Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours. The weather will remain hot and humid in Kerala and Mahe on March 5 and 6. There will be rain on the mountainous regions of West Bengal and Sikkim on March 7 and 8. In Gujarat, fishermen have been advised not to go to the sea. At the same time, on March 7, there is a possibility of rain and lightning in Sikkim with thunderstorms and on March 8, many districts of Bihar are expected to rain with storms.
