Action starts in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Police has removed information about all Pakistani citizens present in the state. The Pune district administration has so far identified 111 Pakistani citizens living in the district and has directed them to leave India by 27 April. However, medical visa will be valid for an additional two days. District Collector Jitendra Doody said that data of Pakistani citizens is being collected from the officers who issued visa and the passport office. He said, “So far we have received information about 111 Pakistani citizens. They have been informed that they are mandatory to leave the country within the stipulated time.” The Collector said that visas were issued for various reasons including tourism and medical treatment, he said, “Those who come here due to medical reasons have been allowed to go by April 29.”
