According to the official data released by the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), the total death toll in Himachal Pradesh has increased to 75 in the current monsoon season, including 45 deaths rainfall and 30 casual deaths, including road accidents, electric shock and gas explosions.

Meanwhile, the government has announced the ex -gratia amount for the dead, while the state government is continuing relief work in the affected districts. Emergency services are on high alert amidst the forecast of heavy rainfall.
Authorities have urged the residents living in landslide potential and low -lying areas to be vigilant and follow the advice issued by the district administration.
Earlier, due to cloudburst and sudden floods due to heavy rains in the day, the death toll in Mandi district had increased to 14 amid widespread devastation and loss of life and property. DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan said that the most affected areas are Thunag subdivision, Karsog Gohar subdivision and Dharampur subdivision.
31 people have been reported missing after the disastrous cloudburst on the midnight of 30 June and 1 July. This disaster caused widespread destruction, causing contact with many remote villages and displaced many families.
DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan said, “The whole house was swept away, cattle were killed and the infrastructure of roads, water supply lines, communication networks and electrical infrastructure was badly damaged. Locals reported heavy difficulty, many people are struggling to find food and shelter after losing everything in the sudden floods.”
