The Prime Minister said it is absolutely natural that there will be ideological differences between political parties on various issues and they have the right to express their views and agitate. “But now, one can feel that a big change has taken place as efforts are being made to tarnish the image of our democracy and Constitution,” Modi said.
He said, “Such parties, which have been deprived of power for the last decade, are now filled with so much anger that they do not hesitate in hatching conspiracies against the country and its countrymen. They are misleading people with lies and rumours.” Modi said such false propaganda is a big challenge for the people of India and BJP workers and “those who love the country and respect the Constitution” should thwart such attempts and expose the lies. “
The Prime Minister said the BJP worked dedicatedly for the development of Odisha, even when the party was not in power in the eastern state. Modi said, “The Odisha election results surprised many big political experts, who had completely rejected the idea of BJP forming a government in the state… The electoral success of the BJP in Odisha, Haryana and Maharashtra is a testament to our party. Shows the strength of the workers.”
He said that BJP respects and gives priority to the rich culture and tradition of Odisha. “I am happy that due to the efforts of BJP, Draupadi Murmu ji, the tribal daughter of Odisha, is the President of the country today. This has boosted the confidence of daughters from all sections of the society. Her journey will inspire many generations to come,” the Prime Minister said. ”
