India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan in UN

New Delhi: India has once again reminded Pakistan of its status in the United Nations. India has clearly stated in the UN that Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will remain an integral part of India. Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said this on behalf of India in the UN. It is noteworthy that Sudhanshu Trivedi is also recognized as a BJP spokesperson, thinker, analyst and political advisor.

What did Sudhanshu Trivedi say?

At the UN, Sudhanshu Trivedi said, ‘Thank you to the Chair for giving me the opportunity to speak. In response to the comments made by Pakistan, India has exercised the option of ROR (Right of Reply). Pakistan has tried to divert the agenda unnecessarily. We want to state that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will remain an integral part of India.

Sudhanshu Trivedi said, ‘The people of Jammu and Kashmir recently exercised their electoral right and elected a new government.’ Slamming Pakistan, Sudhanshu said, ‘The August Forum of the United Nations cannot be used to mention such non-original and misleading terms.’

What is the whole matter?

Actually, United Nations peacekeeping operations were being discussed in the UN. During this time, when the representative of Pakistan started talking about this issue, he tried to divert people from the topic. During this, Pakistan unnecessarily mentioned that Pakistan’s involvement with UN peacekeepers started when the UN deployed peacekeepers in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir in 1948.

India reacted sharply to this comment of Pakistan and immediately used the option of ROR (Right of Reply). During this, India clearly said that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will remain an integral part of India. It has also only recently gone through proper democratic elections, so the UN August Forum cannot be used to refer to it in such non-original and misleading terms.

Sudhanshu Trivedi posted on the X handle and said, ‘This has been possible due to the strong foreign policies of PM Modi.’ He also said that the government led the way for a strong and vocal India on the international platform (UN).
