Ration card facility is provided by the Government of India for needy families. Through this ration card, they are provided grain at a low price. That is, if a person is being given the benefit, then he can easily use this ration card. However, it is important to take care that the ration card is not for all citizens of the country but only for needy families.
Grain is available at a low price
Under this scheme, under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), the needy families are provided subsidized grain facilities. But the benefit of this facility is also being given by many people who do not meet the eligibility of the scheme. The government is taking strictness against this and investigation is also being done so that they can get the benefit of the scheme which are really entitled to it.
For this, the government has made it necessary to get the ration card E-KYC. The last date for ration card holders to do E KYC was 31 March, which has now been extended to 30 April. So far, the government has extended this period 6 times in total. All have been appealed that they should complete this process within a limited time.
