Hateful comments against DY Chandrachud and his wife
A picture is going viral on social media. In this picture, PM Narendra Modi had come to attend Ganesh Utsav at the house of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. During this, PM Modi was welcomed by DY Chandrachud and his wife. During this, PM Modi also performed the aarti of Lord Ganesha. But false statements have also started on social media regarding this picture. Meanwhile, the IFSO unit of Delhi Police i.e. Special Cell has registered a case against the CJI and his wife for making indecent comments. The cyber cell is now investigating who all have made indecent comments against both of them on social media.
Wrong comment against the Chief Justice
The Special Cell has registered a case under sections 356, 217, 61(2)(a), BNS and IT Act. This case was registered on 9 September. Let us tell you that the IFS unit of the Special Cell has now started investigating this matter. Actually, a complaint was made to the Delhi Police by the Supreme Court’s Admin Security Office. Actually, CJI Chandrachud and his wife were very angry after reading the comments on the post that is going viral. After this, they thought of complaining about it. The Supreme Court’s Admin Security Department complained to the Delhi Police regarding this.
Special cell registered a case
It is being told that this case is related to false and incorrect information spread with the intention of tarnishing the reputation of the Chief Justice and the judiciary. According to the police, they had received a complaint to the Supreme Court’s Admin Security Department. In this complaint, posts being made on social media sites Facebook and X were mentioned, which were factually incorrect. According to the complainant, its purpose was to tarnish the image of the judiciary. As soon as the Delhi Police received this complaint, the police took cognizance of it.
