India Bluntly Tells Bangladesh: Bangladesh government should shoulder the responsibility of protecting minorities, India bluntly in the matter of violence with Hindus, Bangladesh government should shoulder the responsibility of protecting minorities, India bluntly

New Delhi. India has reacted and expressed protest against the current situation and atrocities on minorities and Hindus in Bangladesh. On behalf of India’s Ministry of External Affairs, spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that our position on this matter is clear. The interim government of Bangladesh should fulfill its responsibility of protecting minorities. These incidents cannot be dismissed as mere media exaggeration. India has consistently and strongly raised the issue of attacks and violence on Hindus and other minorities with the Government of Bangladesh. We are concerned about extremist rhetoric, increasing violence against minorities and incidents of incitement.

As far as the arrest of Chinmoy Das is concerned, we have noted that legal processes are underway in this case and we hope that these processes will be dealt with in a fair, equitable and transparent manner to ensure full respect for all people. Can be done.
