New Delhi. In the weekly press briefing, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal gave information about the talks held between India and China on various aspects. Jaiswal said that during a program in Geneva, the capital of Switzerland, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said today that talks are going on between the two sides to find a solution to the problem. I can roughly say that about 75 percent of the problems have been resolved. Apart from this, he also gave an update on the return of Indians recruited in the Russian army.

Regarding India-China relations, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal says that Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has talked about this recently in Berlin and on many other occasions as well. The Foreign Minister also talked about relations with China while participating in the Economic Times program. We have also been keeping you informed about those developments. The spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs said that we have raised the issue of Indian citizens who were recruited in the Russian army and who now want to be free from it with the Russian side. When our Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Russia in July, he also raised this matter with President Vladimir Putin with utmost seriousness.

Jaiswal said that since PM Modi’s visit to Russia, 35 Indian citizens who did not want to work in the Russian army have been relieved from their jobs. Whereas before PM Modi’s visit, 10 Indians had got permanent leave from their jobs. In this way, a total of 45 Indian citizens have been given permanent leave from the Russian army so far. Many of them have returned to India. Six citizens have returned just two days ago and the rest will also return to India soon. Full efforts are being made by the Government of India in this regard.
