India-China Signed Agreement Regarding Patrolling On LAC: Agreement between India and China regarding patrolling on LAC, chances of ending the deadlock

India-China Signed Agreement Regarding Patrolling On LAC: Many meanings are being drawn from this agreement signed before PM Narendra Modi left for Russia to attend the BRICS summit. PM Narendra Modi may have a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Russia. Perhaps that is why China has made an agreement related to ending the deadlock on the border dispute.

New Delhi. Taking a major step towards ending the border dispute between India and China, an agreement has been reached today regarding patrolling on the Line of Control (LOC) between the two countries. Under this agreement, the armies of both the countries will retreat from Depsang and Demchok areas and then patrolling will start there. Giving information in this regard, India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that as a result of the discussions held in the last several weeks, an agreement has been reached regarding the patrolling system on the Line of Actual Control in India. The talks between the two countries at the level of top officials are finally resolving the issues that arose in these areas in 2020. He expressed hope that now there will be no conflict in LAC between the soldiers of China and India.

Many meanings are being drawn from this agreement signed before PM Narendra Modi left for Russia to attend the BRICS summit. It is believed that PM Narendra Modi may have a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping during the BRICS summit in Russia. That is why China has signed an agreement to end the deadlock on the border dispute.

Let us tell you that in the year 2020, there was a massive clash between Indian soldiers and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley located in eastern Ladakh. 20 Indian soldiers were killed in this clash. Whereas 30 to 35 Chinese soldiers were also killed. Since then, there is a dispute situation between the two countries in the border areas from Ladakh to Arunachal. India strongly raised the issue of border dispute with China. However, considering India’s tough stance, China has been quiet for some time and now it has also reached an agreement regarding border patrolling.
